levanah is the sphere of the moon, guarded by arch-angel gabriel. the moon reflects upon the mysteries of birth and death, governing the cycles of incarnation and discarnation. its subtle glow lends wisdom to us in the night, thus conceiving the essence of beauty and truth in the hour of darkness. this essence is the child of light who is annunciated by the arch-angel himself. gabriel holds in his hand the lily wand - sacred to the moon - symbolizing the essence of purity, and a horn trumpet to summon the spirits in his nocturnal hunt. levanah is where we begin and end - where we plant and bury our blood and tears... |
